The Persuasions is an acappella chorus group from New York.
This album includes a covered song of "Lady Soul" .
According to the liner notes, 5 songs including "Lady Soul" are recorded in 1988 for this album, but at the end of December the baritone singer Herbert "Toubo" Rhoad passed away, and after that the other members recorded the rest in 1990.
So, this album was out in 1993, but I think this is the first covered recording of the original songs of Temps which Ali-Ollie took the lead part.
