1. "Lady Soul" (from "To Be Continued")

Whatever, this is the #1 recording by "My Guy" Ali.
Especially the bridge from the high tone to husky shout of " You're my you're my ...". Woo, exquisite & supreme !
This song is covered 3 times, by The Persuasions (1988), George Banton (1993), and Johnnie Taylor (1994)

1. "Someone" (from "To Be Continued")

This is another #1 recording as "Lady Soul" .
People in Japan are still talking about his exiting performance for the finale of the show Japan tour 1988.
I can't listen to this song without tears !

3. "To Be Continued" (from "To Be Continued")

This song was written by Ali-Ollie Woodson himself.
He's singing so earnestly and it sink deeply into my mind.

4. "Treat Her Like A Lady" (from "Truly For You")

Ali's the first and the biggest hit.
His forte of "hohohohoooo..." started from this song.

5. "Touch Me" (from "Touch Me")

The checking point of this song is the long shout of high tone without breather.
If somebody tried to make advances to a you like this, you got be knocked down !

6. "Soul To Soul" (from "Special")

This song is coverd 3 times, by Bobby Harris (1993), The Neville Brothers (1996), and Nuflavor (1997), but no one is conpared with this original recording by Ali.

7. "True Love" (from "Peace In The Valley")

This song was recorded not for Temps, but reminds me of "Lady Soul" and I love it.

8. "We Should Be Makin' Love" (from "Milestone")

I don't think the album which included this song was well accepted by Temps fun, but I love his soft and tender way of singing for this number.
(Maybe some people won't agree with me ...)

9. "Life Is But A Dream" (from "For Lovers Only")

This song from another album which I don't think was well accepted by Temps fun, but I like it in the same way as "Some Enchanted Evening".
Just after this recording, Melvin Franklin passed away, so it became the more memorial song for me.

10. "All I Want From You" (from "Special")

I think this disco song is much influenced by Janet Jackson, but when he sings this song, his so KOOL with not only the exiting shout but also his dance !

Others
"Do You Really Love Your Baby"(from "Touch Me")
"How Can You Say That It's Over" (from "Truly For You")

You can enjoy the contrast between Ali and Ron Tyson by both songs.
"Do You ..." is a disco song written by Luther Vandross and Marcus Miller.

I'm waiting for any your oppinion for my selection, so please e-mail to me or come to
